Firestarters
Firestarters is our children’s ministry for kids ages 3 months through 5th grade. Our heart is for every child to understand their true identity in Christ and personally experience the love of God. We believe that kids don’t have a Jr. Holy Spirit, but that God wants to encounter them with His love and power and use their gifts to love others right now. From praying and worshiping over the infants to Bible lessons and activating spiritual gifts, our team is ready to engage with your kids through playful age-appropriate activities. We are honored to be a part of your child’s journey with God.
Schedule
Firestarter’s Children’s Ministry meets the first 3 Sunday mornings of the month, during our regular service times. On the Fourth Sunday of each month, we have Family Sundays. This is a time when ALL children are welcome to join our regular service. The children will experience worshiping with the larger community as whole. They will also have the opportunity to engage in hearing the Word of God through our Pastors, as each child learns how to operate in the body of Christ.
Checking In
Our check-in opens every Sunday at 9:40 and goes until 10:00 am. If your family arrives after check-in, please bring your child directly to their classroom where the teaching assistants can check him or her in. If this is your first time joining us, we will have you fill out an information card which enables us to include your child in our check in system. When checking in you will receive a number card that is specific to your child, corresponding to the number on their name tag. This card is what you will use to pick up your child at the end of service.
*Every Firestarters, and Ignite youth volunteer goes through an extensive background check to ensure that your children are safe and well taken care of.
Youth (Grades 6-12)
Youth Nights
Ignite Youth is a group of teenagers (Grades 6th-12th) who are learning to strengthen our relationships with God. We meet every other Thursday at 6:00pm to worship, get in the word, play games, and share testimonies with each other.
