Prophetic Ministry

If you are new to the concept of two-way communication with God, you are in the right place! The prophetic team at the Well Church is excited to help you connect with the God who loves you and wants to reveal His love to you through Holy Spirit! We are committed to Jesus Christ who said in John 10:27, My sheep listen to my voice, I know them and they follow me.

The prophetic ministry of Well Church is about igniting purpose, hope, and identity through the gift of prophecy. We are passionate about equipping and activating believers in the gift of prophesy and words of knowledge.

The heart of prophetic ministry is anchored in 1 Corinthians 14, “Pursue love and earnestly desire the spiritual gifts, especially that you may prophesy”. It is our mission to see men, women, teens, and children clearly hearing from Holy Spirit to edify themselves and to strengthen, encourage, and comfort others out of a deep, healthy, and growing relationship with Father God, King Jesus, and Holy Spirit.

Prayer Ministry

Group 602

Prayer ministry is where we pursue the Holy Spirit and His power to see people healed. Immediately following Sunday morning worship service, our ministry team offers a special time of individual prayer. It’s a time when we see God bring life, wholeness, and love to those suffering from physical ailments.

Healing prayer is founded on Jesus' commission in Mark 16 that believers, when armed with the Holy Spirit, have authority and power over any sickness or infirmity.

“And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name... they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover.” Mark 16:17-18

And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons… Mark 16:17

Signs that a person may be experiencing demonic oppression:

1.  Isolation, particularly from family

2.  Out-of-control behavior (addictions, abusive tendencies, bodily contortions, facial expressions, and/or vocal anomalies)

3.  Doing things intentionally to hurt oneself, including self-mutilation (such as cutting)

4.  Humiliation. The demonic likes to humiliate both the person and the family.

5.  Mental Illness. Mental illness can be a sign of demonic oppression or demonization, but it is important to understand that most mental illness is NOT demonic in origin. Mature and experienced Christian leaders who teach on and minister deliverance, realize the need to exercise discernment between psychological problems – for which the individual needs psychotherapy, trauma counseling, psychiatric help, and/or medication and the presence of real demonic activity in the person’s life, in which case deliverance is called for.
