Each group walks through a specific spiritual practice—like fasting, solitude, or Sabbath—through teaching, discussion, and real-life application. Open Arms Training

Open Arms is designed to equip the local church body to welcome individuals as they are reentering their communities after they leave jail. In this training we will help break common stigmas and help you understand struggles that inmates have. You will learn about trauma, addiction, recovery and boundaries, and receive tools and resources on how to walk alongside those that Jesus loves. This training will not only equip us for ministering to those who have left jail, but also to many others as we dive into our GR32 initiative to bring the love of Jesus to every neighborhood in Grand Rapids.

Outreach: Feed the Homeless
